Sioux City, Iowa — Sioux City Community School District students are invited to kick off the 2022-2023 school year with Back to School Night on Monday, August 22.
During Back to School Night, students can tour their school, meet their teachers, and drop off school supplies. Families are encouraged to label their child’s school supplies with a permanent marker ahead of time to help teachers keep their materials together.
Back to School Night will be held at the following times:
- Preschool, Transitional Kindergarten, and Kindergarten “Sneak a Peek:” 4 pm to 6 pm
- Grades 1 through 5: 5 pm to 7 pm
- Middle School: 5 pm to 7 pm
- High School: 6 pm to 8 pm
Information to help families prepare for school including online verification, school supply lists, meal and curriculum fees, and required immunizations and screenings is on the District’s website.
