Through reading, writing, speaking, and listening, students build the essential skills to both transmit and receive information from people from various dialects. While these skills are essential to career readiness and global communication, they are equally essential for us to harness our innate ability to form lasting bonds with one another.

The Foreign Language standards for grades 9-12 illustrate what your child will learn in high school, as directed by the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL). The Foreign Language ACTFL standards focus on key concepts in communication, culture, connection, comparison, and communities.
