Elementary School:
A total of ¾ cup of fruits and/or vegetables is served at lunch.
USDA allows pickles and vegetables within entrees (such as tomato sauce) to count as part of this total ¾ cup.
Canned fruits are in a light pack except for applesauce, which is sweetened.

Parents must fill out and have physicians sign the “Feeding Children with Special Needs” form to allow the child to have the portion needed to fulfill the desired carbohydrate amount.
Parents must write requested portions and carbohydrate amounts for each day on the menu.
Middle and High School:
All fruits and vegetables including potatoes are ½ cup portion each.
