West High School -

West High Speech and Debate is an intensive, competitive program where students practice advanced public speaking skills. Students learn the rules and techniques of various speech and debate events at practices held throughout the school year.   

Through involvement in speech and debate, students learn valuable life skills including research, critical thinking, organization, persuasion and communication. 

Any student who is interested in speech and debate is encouraged to join!
