The 1st and 3rd Grade Chorus Concerts and the 5th Grade Band Concert have been rescheduled for Friday, March 8th. The First Grade concert will start promptly at 1:45 and the Third Grade concert will start promptly at 2:30. The 5th Grade Band Concert will start promptly at 2:15 and last 15 minutes.

Get ready to deck the halls and spread some holiday cheer because Unity is gearing up for an exciting and joyous Holiday Dress-Up Week from Monday, December 18th, to Thursday, December 21st! We're inviting all our fabulous students to join in the festive spirit by dressing up according to each day's theme:
Monday, 12/18 - "The Stockings were hung by the chimney with care..." - Wear Festive Socks to kick off the holiday vibes!
Tuesday, 12/19 - It's Grinch Day! Encourage your little ones to sport Green or Red attire and let's see those Grinchy grins!
Wednesday, 12/20 - Let's amp up the cheer with Holiday Spirit Day! Think Ugly Sweaters, Garland, Holiday Characters, Santa Hats, and more! Let your creativity shine!
Thursday, 12/21 - Cozy up because it's time to relax in pajamas and feel snug as a bug by the "fire" (figuratively speaking, of course!).

No school for students tomorrow, November 7, 2023, due to a staff Professional Development Day. Your continued support is greatly appreciated. We look forward to welcoming your children back to school on November 8, 2023.

This Thursday, 10/26, Unity will be celebrating Red Ribbon Week by having a Building-Wide Dress-Up Day! Students may choose one of the following two dress-up themes: 1. P.J. Day – Regular sleep is vital for learning, or 2. Wear your Favorite Costume – Say “BOO” to Drugs! (No weapons, face masks, or fake blood)
Also, this Thursday, is our annual Trunk-or Treat Event in the Unity parking lot from 5:30 – 7:00 pm. In the case of rain, this event will be moved inside to our cafeteria and/or gym. We are still looking for more volunteers to hand out candy at this event. If you are able to help us out, please contact our office to sign up. This is usually a very popular event so please plan on bringing approximately 500 pieces of candy and arriving at 5:00 pm to set up your vehicle.
Since students are being allowed to wear their costumes to school on Thursday, 10/26, NO COSTUMES will be allowed to be worn to school by students on the actual day of Halloween, Tuesday 10/ 31.
Any Fall/Halloween classroom parties will be determined by the classroom teacher. You will be notified by your child’s classroom teacher if a party is happening in their classroom, when it is, and what you can bring. Not all teachers will be having a party in their room.

There will be no tutoring after school during the week of 10/23 - 10/27 due to parent/teacher conferences, scheduled days off, and our 'trunk or treat' event. Tutoring will resume on Tuesday, 10/31.
