Sioux City, Iowa – The Board of Education for the Sioux City Community School District has extended its application deadline for community volunteers who would like to join its Educational Equity Committee. Applications must be submitted by Friday, September 13, 2024.
The Educational Equity Committee (EEC) is committed to ensuring equal opportunity for students and staff to access educational programs and employment. In addition, the EEC supports and advises the District on the coordination and development of policies, programs, resources, and methods that increase maximum achievement for all students in a multicultural, gender-fair environment.
