Downtown Partners and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 231 will host the Holiday Lighted Parade on November 25th at 6:15 p.m.
The parade route will follow 4th Street, starting at Iowa Street
and end at Nebraska street where Santa will light the holiday tree in front of the Sioux City
Public Museum.
This year's event promises to be the biggest and brightest yet, with over 80 registered entries
illuminating the streets of Downtown Sioux City. New this year, Siouxland District Health
Department and the Sioux City Convention Center will be offering an outdoor accessible
viewing area during the parade, along with sensory friendly areas inside to ensure everyone
can experience a magical evening.
Other businesses are joining in on the fun as well, with many shops and galleries offering
treats and goodies. The Aalfs Downtown Library and LaunchPad Children’s Museum will
offer activities for the children that afternoon to help keep them busy until parade time.
We invite everyone to join us for this spectacular display of holiday spirit and community
cheer. For more information visit downtownsiouxcity.com or join Downtown Partners on social
