Information:
Families are invited to enjoy free sweet bread, coffee, and hot chocolate to celebrate Children's Day, a traditional holiday in Mexico. Children in attendance will also receive a free bilingual book. Participants are encouraged to bring family photos and keepsakes to share with the group. Dr. Stacey Alex of Morningside University and Dr. Wilfrido Suárez of Briar Cliff University will give a brief presentation on the history of Hispanic communities in the Sioux City area.
