The Sioux City Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center (“the Center”) will host the Fantastic Fall (Signup) Fair from 10:00 AM to noon on Saturday, July 15. At this event, representatives of the Center and other nonprofits will make available information about their fall children’s programming. Siouxland families are invited to browse their options and complete registration at one fun, free, convenient stop.
For nonprofits, the event is an opportunity to showcase all the free or cost-effective programs and services they offer for Siouxland youth. So far, participating nonprofits include:
•Community Action Agency,
•LaunchPAD Children’s Museum,
•Mary J. Treglia Community House,
•Norm Waitt Sr. YMCA,
•REACH Theatre,
•S.T.A.R.S,
•Salvation Army of Siouxland,
•Sanford Center,
•Sgt. Floyd Riverboat & Welcome Center, and
•Sioux City Railroad Museum.
Families wishing to participate need to do nothing but show up! The Center has encouraged participating nonprofits to incorporate kids’ activities and festive decorations and will provide free treats for all.
