Sioux City, Iowa – Siouxland families are invited to join the Sioux City Community School District, Sioux City Public Schools Foundation, and Sioux City Public Museum for a fun day of Books and Bingo on Saturday, March 16 from 11 am to 1 pm at the Sioux City Public Museum, located at 607 4th St. in Sioux City.
During the free event, elementary-aged children can play a museum-inspired game of bingo, pick up a free book, and enjoy snacks while supplies last. A storytelling hour will be held at noon with special guest readers.
The event is designed to engage families in an afternoon of learning, exploration, and discovery. March 16 is also the opening day of the 33rd annual Sioux City history project exhibit featuring models and posters of Siouxland landmarks, people, and events created by local fourth-grade students.
