Driver's Education Summer Classes
The Sioux City Community School District plans to offer two four-weeks sessions of Traffic Education for this summer. The first session will begin Wednesday May 26 and end Tuesday June 29. The second session will begin Monday June 28 and end Wednesday, July 28.
Classes will be held Monday through Friday at East, North and West High Schools.
Registration for summer traffic education will begin on Monday, February 15 with the deadline for all registrations ending on Friday, March 26. Cost for the class will be $385.
Registration forms may be picked up at any of the Sioux City public high schools, Bishop Heelan High School and the Siouxland Community Christian School.
In order to register, you must be 14 years of age. You must bring a completed registration form, a valid permit, and the complete deposit for the class fee to one of the three public high schools that you wish to attend this summer.
Registration may be limited. Students will be accepted for the course, based on the age of the student (birth date, oldest students first). The fee deposit will be returned if a student is not enrolled in a class.
