Duties and Responsibilities:
Elementary:
- TAG Elementary Specialists will be working with the elementary students.
- PEP’s will be created for identified students.
- Referral’s to TAG Intervention Specialist as needed.
Middle School:
- Beginning of the year meeting in each of the TAG classes
- High school registration/goals/4 year plans
- 8th grade visit engineering classes at the high school
- Check/Compare 8th grade pre-registration list for Honors English 1 class to TAG list
- Interview potential Honors English I students (non-identified TAG students)
- Monitor achievement and attendance
- Provide support for TAG students through one on one counseling sessions or small groups
- Data gathering and analysis of data relating to TAG program and students
- Recruit, refer and test students
- Parent/student focus groups
High School:
- Beginning of the year meeting in the Honors English 1 and 2 classrooms
- Interview potential Honors English students
- Monitor achievement and attendance
- Provide support for TAG students through one on one counseling sessions or small groups
- Data gathering and analysis of data relating to TAG program and students
- Parent/student focus groups
