The Sioux City Community School District offers many services for parents and guardians and we are committed to addressing your concerns in a fair and timely manner.

Resources/Information:

  • Bus Transportation
    1. If a bus is late or hasn't shown up, call 279-6098.
    2. If you have questions about your bus stop, contact your school.
    3. If you have a bus safety issue, contact the Transportation Administration at 279-6098.
  • Concerns/Issues
    Please direct your concerns and/or issues regarding school and/or student safety to Dr. Michael McTaggart 224-7448 or Marilyn Charging, Equity Officer at 279-6075.
  • Counseling
    If you have questions regarding colleges and scholarships, student personal and/or social issues, or other questions regarding academic resources, please contact your high school guidance office: East High - 274-7440; North High - 239-7007; West High - 279-6746

  • K-12 Literacy Program

  • Talented and Gifted
    Information regarding the TAG program within our district, please contact 279-6734.
  • Transfer Application
    If you would like to apply for a student transfer from your current attendance area to another attendance area contact Elementary Education at 279-6677 or Secondary Education at 279-6676.
