Schools Within Our District
The Sioux City
Community School District is comprised of 28 schools. There are
four high schools, three middle schools and 21 elementary
schools.
The district operates under a feeder system. Certain elementary
attendance areas will feed into the middle schools, those middle
schools will then feed into their respective high schools. The
feeder system is as follows (in alphabetical order):
Eastside:
Joy, Longfellow, McKinley,
Nodland/Sunnyside, Washington, Whittier, East Middle and East
High
Northside:
Bryant, Clark, Hunt, Irving,
Leeds\Hawthorne, Lowell, North Middle and North High
Westside:
Crescent Park, Emerson, Everett,
Lincoln, Riverside, Roosevelt, Smith, West Middle and West
High
